What is a Core and conditioning class?

These core fitness classes focus on key muscles through the centre and upper body, including the abdominals, lower back and pelvis. By training these areas together, you’ll build strength and a solid foundation. Strengthening the core in this way helps improve stability, mobility and overall balance.

  • Yes! All our classes are designed for every fitness level, so anyone can join in. Instructors will adjust the intensity for beginners, helping you improve core strength and tone your muscles. They’ll guide you on correct form while gently challenging you through each workout.

  • A weak core can make everyday movements and other exercises more difficult. Strengthening your core benefits the whole body, improving stability, balance and reducing the risk of injury. Maintaining core strength helps you move more efficiently and safely.

  • The class rotates through a variety of exercises that work the entire core. Common moves include sit-ups, crunches, reverse crunches, mountain climbers, Russian twists and planks.

  • If you want more core-focused sessions, try our Core Blast or Spin & Abs classes. For a gentler approach, our yoga classes also engage the core through controlled, stabilising movements.
